The Prince George's County Police Department is investigating a murder in Hillcrest Heights. The victim is identified as 22-year-old Jerome Zephier Peters of the 1100 block of Stratwood Avenue in Oxon Hill. On June 30, 2013 at approximately 1:15 am, patrol officers were called to the 2900 block of St. Clair Drive for a shooting. Upon their arrival, the patrol officers found Peters inside a home suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.The preliminary investigation suggests this murder...

The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Cold Case Unit has charged a suspect in connection with the 30-year-old murder of Stephanie Sue Watson of Laurel. The 27-year-old left for work the night of July 22,1982 and never arrived. Her remains were positively identified a few months later.
