PGPD Investigates Murder in Landover

Updated January 31, 2013: Updated January 31, 2013:    The victim’s stolen car has been recovered, thanks to a Crime Solvers tip.  Detectives found the car late on January 30, 2013, in the 300 block of Hillside Terrace in Landover. The car was found abandoned.  It is now being processed for evidence.   

Updated January 29, 2013:  The victim is identified as 48 year-old Keith Massaton Watson of the 9100 block of Grandhaven Avenue in Upper Marlboro.  Detectives are searching for his 2004 black Audi A6, which has dark tinted windows and Maryland Bay tags 01524CE.  Detectives believe the victim's car, pictured below, was taken during the murder. The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating a murder in Landover.

On January 28, 2013, around 12:55 pm, police officers responded to the 8500 block of Rainswood Drive in Landover for a shooting. Upon arrival, police officers found a man inside an industrial building, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Detectives are working to identify the suspect(s) and motive in this case.
