PGPD Mock Crime Scene Training – Media Availability

Posted on 3:04 PM by Unknown

Prince George’s County police officers will apply the skills learned in their week of Crime Scene Investigation School by using bullet trajectory, wound pattern analysis, blood spatter, and forensic evidence collection to solve mock homicide and suicide scenarios.  The police officers will test their skills at mock crime scenes staged in hotel rooms with “victims” made up with commercial grade make-up.  The intention is to provide as realistic a crime scene as possible so the training can be applied in real word situations.
