| Cpl. Thomas "Tommy" Jensen 1982-2010 |
Fallen Prince George’s County police officer Cpl. Thomas Jensen will be honored at a hockey game played in his memory. The annual game is affectionately known as “the Tommy.” The game is hosted by DeMatha Catholic High School in Hyattsville.
Cpl. Jensen graduated from DeMatha Catholic High School in 2000. He joined the Prince George’s County Police Department in 2004. Cpl. Jensen died in March 2010 from injuries sustained while responding to an emergency call.
Cpl. Jensen will be honored in both a pre-game ceremony with family members and a post-game celebration. Admission to the event is free. Donations to the Thomas P. Jensen Scholarship Fund may be made by contacting Tony MacAulay at TMacAulay@DeMatha.org.
