Updated December 7, 2012 at 7:30 pm with video clips.

The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating an armored truck robbery in Oxon Hill.  It occurred in the 6300 block of Livingston Road shortly after 1:00 pm on December 11, 2012.

Police officers were called to the scene for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, police officers found an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound.  His injuries are not considered life-threatening and he is listed in stable condition.

The preliminary investigation reveals the victim, an employee for the Loomis Armored Car Service, was dropping off money to the Sav-A-Lot store.  He was confronted by several masked suspects who announced a robbery, one of whom shot the victim.  The suspects were then seen getting into a silver four-door vehicle.  The video below shows the suspect vehicle leaving the scene.

Anyone with information in this case is urged to call the Prince George’s County Police Department’s Robbery Unit at 301-772-4905. Callers can remain anonymous by calling Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS (877) or text “PGPD” plus your message to CRIMES (274637) on your cell phone or go to www.pgpolice.org and submit a tip online. A cash reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and indictment in this case.
