The Prince George’s County Police Department arrested three suspects in connection with an armed robbery in Temple Hills. The suspects are identified as 17-year-old Deallo James Carroll of the 2400 block of Colebrooke Drive in Temple Hills and 17-year-old Collin Lester Younger of the 3900 block of 26th Avenue in Temple Hills. They are being charged as adults. The third suspect is a 14-year-old juvenile male.

| Collin Younger On August 26, 2013, at approximately 3:40 pm, patrol officers responded to 25th Avenue and Gaither Street for the report of an armed robbery. The victim told patrol officers that he and the suspects had just stepped off of a bus when Younger pushed the victim. When the victim tried to confront Younger, Carroll placed the victim in a choke hold, pulled out a gun and pointed it at him. The third suspect removed the victim’s tennis shoes from his feet. Carroll threw the victim to the ground and the suspects then ran away. Through the course of the investigation, detectives developed Carroll, Younger and the juvenile as suspects. They were arrested Tuesday night in Temple Hills. The suspects each admitted their involvement. During a search of Carroll’s home, detectives recovered a BB semi-automatic handgun and a revolver, as well as the victim’s shoes.  |
The three suspects face armed robbery and first degree assault charges. Carroll and Younger are in the custody of the Department of Corrections. The juvenile was remanded to Cheltenham Youth Facility.
