PGPD "Running the Beat" in Hillcrest Heights

In support of the county-wide Transforming Neighborhoods Initiative, the Prince George’s County Police Department will once again be “Running the Beat” on Wednesday.  Prince George’s County Executive Rushern Baker is joining members of the PGPD command staff, police officers and student officers for the run through the Hillcrest Heights community.  The goal of “Running the Beat” is to engage the community and be a visible presence in these neighborhoods.  Other TNI focus areas include Langley Park, EastRiverdale/Bladensburg, Forestville/Capitol Heights, Kentland/Palmer Park, Marlow Heights and Glassmanor/Oxon Hill.  Members of the community are encouraged to participate in these runs.
